Want to try one of Bohol’s most thrilling escapades in the province’s adventure park known as EAT Danao? But we are not talking about devouring sumptuous meals on this municipality in Bohol, although they do offer some of the most exotic cuisines in the Philippines. We are talking about the Extreme Adventure Tour (EAT) Danao, an Eco-tourism adventure park dedicated to extreme thriller junkies in a one-stop-shop type of entertainment.
At the EAT Danao, you can have rock climbing, river trekking, rappelling, kayaking, cave exploration, and the most popular “plunging”. By plunging, we mean literally nose-diving and swaying from a high-elevation platform into a 200-meter high gorge. Known as “The Plunge”, this extreme adrenaline junkie is similar to bungee jumping except that you can do the jump upside down or in a seated position.
Moreover, “The Plunge” is designed to make a free-fall for about 45 meters and then have a pendulum swing almost 100 meters wide in a 300-meter wide gorge. This canyon swing adventure getaway is the first in the country and set in a location on the quaint and idyllic town of Danao in Bohol. Below your jump is a canyon covered with trees and a river that runs through it.
