Experience the Grand Kalanggaman and Malapascua Island Escapade

15th March 2019
Cebu

It was a breathless adventure and an unending adrenaline rush as we have conquered the 3 Days Kalanggaman and Malapascua Tour last Feb. 23. The tour was organized by Island TravelXP Tours and was the first of its kind for the tour organizer as we, the staff, and our precious guests, come with us together in an adventure of a lifetime!

Here is what transpired on our 3 Days and 2 Nights trip at Kalanggaman and Malapascua islands.

DAY 1

The undisturbed island of Kalanggaman

On Day 1, the group met at the north bus terminal at 3:30 AM-4 AM then proceeds to Maya Port (in Daanbantayan northern Cebu).

We arrived in Maya Port at 7:30 am. We then rode a boat going to the undisturbed island of Kalanggaman for 2 hours.

We witnessed firsthand the fantastic island’s scenic beauty, the cleanliness of its shores, the crystal-clear turquoise waters, the cool breeze, and the glorious sunrise and its romantic sunset.

You can do beach camping on its shore; just bring in tents and other camping equipment.

In Kalanggaman Island, we did overnight camping, had a sumptuous lunch buffet with grill pork, fish, chicken, and then dinner buffet with plates of seafood.

DAY 2

The Multi-colored Living Corals and Fascinating Marine Life in Malapascua

Day 2 is similarly exciting! Wake up call was at 7 AM and we did snorkeling and swimming before we went straight to Malapascua.

We enjoy island hopping and exploration at Malapascua’s fantastic coral gardens, underwater shoals, submarine walls, and we are astounded by the many species of marine life.

We then had a sumptuous lunch on the island and then explored another well-known place in Malapascua; the Japanese Shipwreck, Dakit-Dakit islet, and Langub beach.

We also did cliff jumping in one of the famous ridges in Malapascua.

We stayed at Malapascua Island in a cottage cum house for the night. It was so relaxing in a cottage like the one we had stayed.

DAY 3

On our last day (Day 3), wakeup call was at 7 AM then we go straight to the market for some pasalubong.

After we were done with our shopping, we then explored the rest of the island on foot. At 12 noon, the group left for Maya Port.

We arrived in Maya Port at 1 PM then proceeded to Cebu City by our service van. End of tour. It was one of the most memorable tours for us and we are looking for another one, maybe in the near future!
